Believe it or not, moving can be a stress free process. I know what you are thinking. You are thinking that moving and stress free do not go together. Well, I am here to tell that you can move without all of the stress that usually comes with it. All you need is one thing and that is a moving check list.
Once the decision to move has been made, it is time to make the moving out check list. Or, if you are like me, you will write one moving checklist for yourself and another moving list for the movers. Trust me, you are going to want to write one for the movers because heaven for bid, your grandmothers china that she gave you gets broken or your husbands precious golf clubs go missing during the move. It is always good to be organized.
Your check list for moving should include the following: the name of each item that you want moved from one residence to another and the quantity. Also, to be even more organized, you can break the list down by room and underneath each room, you list each item and the quantity. I am sure that there are people who go a little overboard. By overboard, I mean they go beyond the moving house check list and write out an actual schedule of the move. They set a time for when the movers will arrive, how long it will take to pack everything up, move everything out, put it all in the moving truck, take everything out of the truck, and finally move it into the new place of residence. Now that, is stressful. You are trying to avoid that at all costs. A simple inventory check list of all of your possessions will suffice.
Many individuals really want to move but they put it off because just thinking about it makes them feel very anxious. The key to not feeling this way is to write a check list. One will stress less if they can check off that everything is accounted for and they know that they will be able to find it once they get to their new destination. All you need is a pencil and paper and the move will be easy as pie. Read more.
